Your new neighborhood has many natural wonders including Las Isletas (300 island archipelago) in Granada; Mombacho volcano (inactive) boasts some of the best zip-line canopy tours in Central America, while Zapatera Island with its pre-columbian artifacts is only 30 minutes away. Rivas and Ometepe Island are less than an hour to the south, and San Juan del Sur with miles of Pacific coast beaches is only 90 minutes to the southwest.
